A stable and reputable company is seeking a Production Assistant to join their team! This individual will work under the supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor and assist with the preparation and assembling of multiple products.
Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment that cuts raw material such as nylon, canvas, and webbing
- Print labels and instruction card labels for products
- Inspect finished products in accordance with company specifications
- Inspects stitching to detect defects
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of industrial sewing and cutting equipment desired
- Must have good computer skills, software and database entry desired
- Effective oral communication skills and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and co-workers required.
- Understanding of ISO standards and ability to read and follow procedures and quality control preferred
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two to three years' related experience and/or training or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
