Qualifications:
High school diploma, CPR, AED & Basic First Aid certifications are required. Excellent communication and Customer Service skills, flexibility, computer skills, basic math skills, and cash handling experience.
Description:
The Santa Barbara Family YMCA is seeking caring and responsible individuals for the Welcome Center. Responsibilities include greeting members by name, answering telephones, registering all new memberships and program registrations, facilitating general information to prospective and current members, using the cash drawers, and serving all members.
Under the direction of the Membership Director, the Member Services Representatives will build relationships and connections with and among members by using members' names, engaging members in conversation and actively listening, checking on members' progress, acknowledge that members have been gone longer than usual and introducing members to other staff and other members. The Member Service Representative will provide the highest quality of service to our members and potential members which allows them to realize the full values of their association with the YMCA.
