GOLETA WATER DISTRICT Customer Service Representative I $4,282.75 - $4,957.85/month plus benefits. Applications are currently being accepted for a Customer Service Representative I. The Customer Service Representative I is responsible for processing customer water bill payments and deposits for new accounts; answers and routes telephone calls; responds to questions regarding customer water bills and payments; researches information concerning complaints related to water use, billings, payments and water leaks; calculates water leak adjustments; creates and posts various work orders in the District's computer system such as new accounts, closed accounts, meter changes and misreads, etc.; initiates service related tickets that are sent to the District's billing company; and responds to a number of reports and other inquiries, etc. High school diploma or equivalent is required plus one (1) year of experience in performing clerical duties including assisting the public, handling money and making accurate change. A valid California Drivers License is required. Competency in MS Office including Word, Excel and outlook is highly desirable.
