We are a busy civil litigation firm in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara. We are looking to hire an extraordinary front office assistant to join our team. Must be punctual, detail-oriented, computer savvy, able to multi-task and work under pressure. Looking for a self-starter who can prioritize, problem solve and work well within a team atmosphere.
Job responsibilities include: greeting guests and/or clients upon entry, answering phones, receiving deliveries and mail, transcription of letters and documents, document filing, including scanning of documents, calendaring, and handling general office and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications: preferably at least one year experience in a legal or business setting. Dynamic understanding of computers with knowledge of: Word, WordPerfect, Microsoft Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.
