Service Technician - Santa Barbara Area

The Towbes Group Inc., a premier property management firm, seeks a full-time experienced Service Technician to provide building maintenance and customer service for our apartment communities in the Santa Barbara/Goleta/Carpinteria area.

As a key member of our residential property management team, the Service Technician interacts daily with our apartment community team members and residents to help maintain company standards throughout the region.

Requirements:

Ability and willingness to provide first class customer service

Excellent communication skills

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of apartment building maintenance

Experience with management of the turn-key process

Appliance repair/installation of refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, and more

HVAC skills. Experience with wall heaters a plus

Plumbing skills including work with showers, drains, dishwashers and sink and toilet replacement

Electrical skills including work with breakers, fixtures, outlets, and exterior pagoda lights

Experience with apartment make-ready process

Organizational talent with the ability to multi-task

On-the-job training and coaching provided to ensure Towbes standards are met

Uniforms are provided

Reliable vehicle required

Mileage paid when used on work assignments

Personal tools preferred

This is a full time, hourly position Monday - Friday, and must be available for a rotating Saturday workweek. The position also requires participation in our after-hours emergency on-call rotation program with a response time of 30-45 minutes to Santa Barbara/Goleta/Carpinteria.
