Our Part-Time Assistant Club Manager (Opening Shift) interacts directly with our members and guests to ensure they have an amazing experience while working in our club.
In addition, collaborates with the Community Manager and Co-Founders to run all of the day to day operations of the club with an emphasis on social media marketing, event management and promotions.
The part-time position requires work to be done in our Santa Barbara Workzones club at the Paseo Nuevo Mall mainly opening during the week but some weekends and evening shifts may be available.
Due to the nature of the position opening the club, reliability and dependability are essential qualities for the ideal candidate.
The position requires:
Phone Skills
Technological Skills (Coffee Machine, Internet, Smart TV, Music)
Computer Skills (MS office products, MindBody, Google Drive)
Professionalism, Reliability and Maturity
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Greeting guests and attending to their needs during events
Promoting our events through a variety of websites, social media, guerrilla marketing and word of mouth
Handling technology needs for our guests during events
Taking photos during events
Ensuring space is clean and organized before, during and after events
Gathering contact information during events
Finding new events for the space
Room set-up & tear down
Organizing our inventory of equipment
Assisting with food and beverages during events
Experience or ability to learn how to use the following platforms is essential.

Microsoft Office Products
This is a part time position (approx 10-20 hrs/week) to start and could progress into a full time position for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will live in the Santa Barbara area and have work experience in customer service, sales and hospitality. A college degree or working towards a degree is preferred but not required.
