SAP SOFTWARE ENGINEER II/III

San Luis Obispo (SLO) County, Information Technology Department, is looking for an experienced SAP Software Engineer at either a II or III position classification (based on experience and qualifications) to join our SAP development team. As a software engineer you will be a key contributor delivering new product features and functionality to the County's SAP landscape and maintaining current applications.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a creative and innovative software engineer who can contribute to the County by applying their skills in business systems and software engineering. We are seeking a developer who is more technically experienced and has an interest in working with clients.
Ideally, we would like our candidate to have SAP experience. However, if you are a fantastic developer and you have some experience, exposure or interest in learning SAP, and you have the interpersonal skills to work effectively with our functional team, we encourage you to apply!
Ideal Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following:
SQL Server, Business Warehouse, Business Objects, ABAP workbench, SAP Query, SAPUI5
Familiarity with one or more of these SAP Modules:

SAP Software Engineer II: Either A: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. (Job-related experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis). OR B: An associate degree or 60 semester units or 90 quarter units from an accredited college or university or completion from a job-related, accredited vocational institution. In addition, two years of experience in analysis, programming, and/or database administration.
SAP Software Engineer III: Either A: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. (Job-related experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis) In addition, two years of experience in analysis, programming, and/or database administration. (A post-graduate degree in a related field may substitute for one year of the required experience). OR B: An associate degree or 60 semester units or 90 quarter units from an accredited college or university or completion from a job-related, accredited vocational institution. In addition, four years of experience in analysis, programming and/or database administration.
Salary: $74,422 - $100,526 annually; depending on experience/qualifications.
