Santori Woodworking in Lompoc Ca, is looking to grow our team. We are in need of a highly skilled custom Cabinet Maker. Successful candidates must have a minimum 5+ years of experience in custom millwork, residential and commercial cabinetry construction and assembly (Face Frame and Frameless). NOT LOOKING FOR A TRAINEE. MUST BE EXPERIENCED TO BE CONSIDERED WITH A VERIFIABLE RESUME.
Must be able to mill cabinet parts, assemble millwork/cabinet components, prepare sub-assemblies, and assemble finished product to package and prepare for complete product shipment. Work consists of routine tasks, processes and performing operations prescribed by drawings/plans, work orders and procedures; as well as custom, one-off, highly complex joinery. Must be proficient with inset door production and assembly with knowledge of specialty hinge installations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Required to work with other associates in assembly of millwork and casework
Help with the addition of base, trim, crown moldings, and other items to various architectural component units
Assemble high-end millwork and joinery using pre-machined components following millwork construction drawings and plans.
Use of assembly machinery; case and frame clamp, table saw, chop saw, routers, drills, band saws etc.
Hinge boring and insertion machines knowledge is a must
Hardware installation, assembly and re-assembly of finished products
Keep work area clean and safe
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5+ years verifiable high end cabinetry experience. Possess working knowledge of woodworking and general assembly techniques
Skilled use of sanders, glue machines, banders, hand tool, planers, jointers, etc.
Correctly perform all aspects of routine work, meeting quality standards and requirements
Must be able to achieve results in an accurate and timely manner
Communicate effectively with owners, co-workers and others
Be able to share knowledge and ideas with others on the team, read and write in English.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., bend, and stoop and stand on feet for long periods of time.
