For our client, we’re looking for a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join their growing Infotainment team, on a Contract - to - hire base (6-9 months contract).The automotive industry is undergoing massive transformation – a digital transformation. We started with in-car navigation and location-based services over a decade ago and are now enabling leading automotive companies like GM, Ford, Toyota and Mercedes redefine the digital experiences for the connected car.Responsibilities• Design, develop and deliver voice enabled infotainment solution by implementing core components for the VIVID SDK. • Implement and customize Android automotive features according to OEM requirements and corporate product roadmap. • Follow high quality software development process including unit test, code review, and integration test.• Interact with UI/UX and product teams to update and deliver best in class HMI• Prototype new automotive technologies with the infotainment SDKExperience and Skills• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electric Engineering, or related majors and experiences. • 5+ years’ experience in native Android application development• Experience on Android Internals, Android Multimedia Frame-work• Expertise in latest Android development methodologies including Kotlin, Jetpack compose, RXJava, Dagger, and Retrofit• Deep understanding of various UI architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVC, MVP• Experience delivering Android Application to Google app store with good rating with several 100K downloads• Good problem solving and debugging skills. • Good communication skills are required (verbal & written).
