Job Description
Must have experience as a DevOps engineer with application development background and deploying applications to AWSAs a Sr. DevSecOps Engineer you are the highest level of technical subject matter expertise for our DevSecOps Platform, its infrastructure, components, and capabilities. As a result, it is expected that the Sr. Engineer is able to research, design and implement the largest most complex work efforts with minimal guidance. Sr. Engineers are also expected to take on more complex projects and self-learn unknown technologies and tools since they are senior members of the DevSecOps organization and therefore, are able to function at a higher level.It is also expected that the Sr DevSecOps Engineer understands and can operate in an Agile environment. As a Sr. Engineer, you are expected to take ownership over stories assigned to you, ensuring that all acceptance criteria are met and are accountable for the timely completion of those stories as committed to during sprint planning. Failure to meet these expectations puts an excessive burden on the rest of the team, as we fall behind on our teams commitments other engineers are forced to work extra hours picking up the slack. Experience: CI/CD experience with multiple environments not just productionGitlab in production experience Experience writing a pipeline and be able to discuss building a pipelineBe able to discuss the 12 factor application methods Security scanning tools Snyk, Aqua or equivalent Be able to demonstrate how to prevent a deployment from happening and what steps are taken Docker Must be familiar with docker and know multi-stage docker Demonstrate how to construct a dockerfile Coding Demonstrated experience of managing and deploy Java, GO ,Python, YAMLDemonstrated experience with linting, Code quality Logging & Monitoring Experience with Grafana dashboard building, Prometheus and alert manager.
