Your Career

Our global internship program trains the next-generation of cybersecurity talent across a range of specializations, from threat intelligence to information security, engineering, and marketing. Interns and recent graduates can learn about the network security industry from leading thinkers, grow their professional networks, and be part of a career-defining experience.

This program will allow an ambitious student a unique opportunity to engage and support our different practice groups including Transactions, Privacy, Employment, Intellectual Property, and Corporate Securities, in hopes that they explore areas of law they are interested in and have the chance to learn something new. Our intern program will help develop skills in drafting agreement templates, conducting diligence on internal procedures, leading research projects, negotiating agreements, and learning operational functions to support an in-house legal department.

Our Summer Internship Program from May-August or June-September provides you:

  • Opportunity to expand your knowledge and work on challenging projects

  • 1:1 Meet & Greets with Senior Leadership

  • Visibility into the actual practice of legal matters, contracts, and projects

  • Fun and engaging events that inspire your intellectual curiosity

  • Network and engage with legal team members, employee resource groups for diverse employees, and other organizational leaders

  • Learn about the various tools, processes, and applications used to run an effective and efficient in-house legal department

The Team

The law department is responsible for providing legal services and advice to the company, its various departments, and employees. The Legal Intern will report to the Head of Legal Operations and/or a Senior Attorney on a day-to-day basis, with oversight and governance from sponsoring Legal Counsels.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Have a curiosity about the work of an in-house legal department

  • Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity, privacy, and information security

  • Business-related experience and a strong interest in a transaction-based practice

  • Ability to prioritize and manage numerous tasks quickly, accurately, and efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under deadline pressure

  • Diligent, flexible, detail oriented and self-motivated

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and computer skills are required

  • Quick learner of various collaboration and productivity tools

  • Self-learner that is willing to search to resolve before escalating for assistance

  • Committed to professionalism and collegiality

All applicants must be pursuing a JD degree in an ABA-accredited law school, have completed their first or second year, and returning to school in the fall. You must have authorization to work within the United States.
