We have huge amounts of datasets in our data lake built on public clouds. There are great opportunities to leverage these data to build applications for visualization, reporting, and analytics for our customers. This is an opportunity to use both your technical expertise and your passion for delivering business value to be a part of an org tackling real problems for real businesses on the largest data platform in the security domain. You will work in the design of applications, utilize your programming skills for efficient and robust implementation and integration, and interact with quality assurance and system reliability engineers in the whole software development cycle.Summer Internship Program from May-August or June-September provides you:1:1 mentorship

Your ImpactTackle new and challenging problems by building a new generation of visual analytics systems for network monitoring and security

Participate in architecture design and development of features for the company’s analytics and visualization platforms

Solve complex data engineering and analytics problems and build the necessary support on the backend

Research, suggest and implement different analytics/visualization frameworks suited to the specific platform

Be able to design complex test cases for the system and work with the QA team

Suggest and implement improvements to the development processes

Your ExperienceCurrently working towards a B.S./B.E./M.S./Ph.D. in a Computer Science or Engineering

Experience with the following programming languages: Java, Javascript or Python

Able to troubleshoot system-level integration and performance issues

Knowledge in RESTful APIs and API communication

Champion engineering quality, establishing business and engineering metrics, and drive continuous operational excellence

Eager to absorb new emerging technologies with a can-do attitude on problem-solving, quality and ability to execute

Enjoys working with different teams with strong collaboration and communication skills

Requirements – To apply, you must be pursuing a 4-year Undergraduate Degree with a GPA of 3.0 or above, a 2-year Master’s Degree or a Doctorate degree and returning to school in the fall. You must have the authorization to work within the United States.Nice to have:Experience with a big data processing system, or data query using SQL or noSQL data source is a plus

Experience on public clouds and products, such as GCP or AWS is a plus

Experience in building and deploying machine learning pipelines is a big plus

Experience with modern web frameworks such as: npm/yarn, Webpack, ReactJS, Redux is a plus
