Role: Lead Video Conference EngineerLocation: Santa Clara, CADuration: PermanentYou will manage video conferencing technologies in corporate and live broadcast environments. You will leverage your experience in managing and maintaining video conferencing endpoints as well as your knowledge of event management workflows.What you bring to the table:- You are a proven professional in the video conferencing industry who remains abreast of emerging technologies.
- You are a subject matter expert in video conferencing inquiries and are called upon to participate in architectural, engineering, and support discussions.
- You are a team player who places an emphasis on effective communication and collaboration with a focus on customer service.
- You are proficient in operating a multitude of video conferencing technologies to include enterprise grade infrastructure as well as software-based products.
- You are the escalation point for all issues occurring with the service and provide support to Tier 1 & 2 Technicians in the field.
- Proficient at applying resolutions in an accelerated manner during live events for audio sync delays, frame drops, video stuttering, and other A/V related issues.
- 5+ years' experience in supporting large-scale meetings in an enterprise grade video conferencing endpoint environment.
- In depth knowledge of in network operations including TCP/IP as well as audio/video routing and switching.
- Experience in Change Management practices to include partnering with key stakeholders on requirements and applying VC endpoint related changes as the lead implementer.
- Experience integrating audio and video routed IP traffic supplied into VC infrastructure.
- Proficient in operating enterprise grade video conferencing hardware as well as software-based solutions to including Cisco, Poly, Lifesize, Zoom, Slack, and Teams.
