Manufacturing Operation Technician (Night Shift)

Please note this is a 9 month contract position.Hours are 10 pm to 6:30 am, days are Sunday through Thursday (we could do Monday through Friday as an alternative), work must be done at the Santa Clara siteIdeal candidate would have experience with operating instrumentation or light equipment. The equipment uses a computer interface to operate. The responsibility includes operating multiple units simultaneously to produce product. Careful handling of glass slides in a clean room environment requires manual dexterity and the use of gloves to prevent surface contamination. Job also includes checks and measurements on the product using optical measuring systems. Careful record keeping and data entry in a computer system is required.Requires higher education or specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Typically minimum of 5 years relevant experience for entry to this level. Requires extensive knowledge and skills to complete specialized tasks.Applicants must provide their phone number.
