Your Career

Palo Alto Networks's SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) group is looking for a seasoned and accomplished QA/Automation engineer with experience in validating core networking & security features in the SD WAN team. You will be part of a world-class software engineering team that works on various ground-breaking technologies in the SD WAN area. You will work with a multi-functional team of engineers solving interesting problems in the SDWAN area.

  • Contribute in all phases of end to end product and solution validation

Your Experience:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience, with a BS or MS degree, in networking or security domain with QA experience in platforms, infrastructure and systems area.

  • Good understanding of Linux System, Components and tools.

  • Experience with various Linux platform testing on x86 platform architecture & troubleshooting tools.

  • Deep understanding of networking protocols and different Layer2/Layer3 technologies.

  • Experience in system/scale testing simulating large enterprise networks

  • Excellent Automation/Programming skills and experience in Python.

  • Experience in core platform testing of networking products

  • Experience with TCP/IP and knowledgeable with common standard IP protocols such as ARP, IP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, etc.

  • Experience in testing & automation for Enterprise Routing Protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP

  • Experience in testing & automation for areas such as IPsec VPN, NAT, FW, QoS

  • Experience in testing Zone Based & next gen FW features

  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi, qemu/kvm, Microsoft Hyper-V

  • Experience with performance characterization of a networking product.

  • Exposure in testing & automation for Enterprise Routing Protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP

  • Be able to build and maintain complex networking testbeds

  • Automation/Programming and REST API testing experience in Python.

  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging/troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent QA skills employing test frameworks, commercial test sets, home grown tools, automated testing.
