Job Description

The Resource Management Organization is responsible for assigning the right people to the right projects at the right time, across all Palo Alto Networks territories. The Resource Manager supports the Global Resource Manager in managing employees currently in the workplace and determining hiring needs based on the cumulative project-based needs of the business. The Resource Manager coordinates capabilities and workload across the Palo Alto Networks Customer Success business, through data analysis and forecasts supply and demand of skilled resources dynamically.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, build and maintain new Staffing Capacity Model for the Customer Success (CS) organization

  • Work with the CS Management and Operations teams to understand current capacity planning model as as future goals and capacity planning needs to adopt into new model

  • Assist in the creation of regular and ad hoc reports

  • Analyze data and develop specialized staffing models for resource needs, conflicts and over/under allocations to drive better business practices

  • Review and recommend modifications to internal processes as needed to better forecast CS staffing needs

  • Provides forecast reports to determine staffing needs for CS

  • Participates ins and/or leads regular meetings with CS Managers globally to provide supply/demand information and discuss current and anticipated resource needs

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheet skills

  • Strong analytical ability

  • Strong understanding of staffing capacity planning models for services organizations

  • Strong understanding of Customer Success, Professional Services or Technical Consulting business

  • Exceptional communication, influencing and analytical skills

  • Strong oral presentation, listening and influencing skills

  • Proven collaboration skills

  • Familiarity with forecasting processes and tools

  • SFDC and/or Gainsight experience

  • Mathematical aptitude.

  • Ability to make assessment and judgment calls quickly and accurately.

  • Strong analytical ability.

  • Advanced PC literacy.

Education

  • BS or Business bachelor’s degree
