Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (Data Platform Development)

Job Description

We are hiring a senior level full stack engineer in our Data Platform group. We have huge amounts of datasets in our data lake built on public clouds. There are great opportunities to leverage these data for visualization, reporting, and analytics for our customers. This is an opportunity to use both your technical expertise and your passion for delivering business value to be a part of an org tackling real problems for real businesses on the largest data platform in the security domain. You will take ownership of large software components, help in the design of the architecture, apply your knowledge to functional design, utilize your programming skills for efficient and robust implementation, and interact with quality assurance in the whole software development cycle.

• Design and implement visualization, reporting, or analytics applications on large amounts of data.

• Interface with the broader data platform teams to help develop a long-term technology roadmap.

• Be both a deep technical leader and a hands-on engineer.

• Champion engineering quality, establishing business and engineering metrics, and drive continuous operational excellence.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or related practical experience.

• 3+ years’ experience or equivalent in software engineering.

• Experience with charting and dashboarding.

• Experience in web frameworks such as: React, Angular, Redux, Highcharts.

• Experience on public clouds and products, such as GCP or AWS is a plus.

• Understanding of authentication/authorization frameworks is a plus.

• Experience in building complex software systems running on large scale production environments.

• Data source query using SQL.

• Professional experience in software development, using Java or more programming languages such as JavaScript, Python.

• Experience as a frontend developer.

• Experience in building RESTful APIs and API Communication.

• Deep hands-on technical expertise.
