Infostretch Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Android Hybrid Tester) in Santa Clara, CA.
Responsibilities:- Design and develop tests, tools and frameworks to enable reduction of manual testing
- Design and develop UI, integration, regression testing
- Work closely with development team to enhance test framework
- Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced environment with a go getter attitude
- Manually execute testing if required
- Expertise in quality assurance or relevant experience
- Experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Espresso, appium, etc
- Expertise in Java and testing framework like JUnit or TestNG
- Experience in maintaining frameworks using industry standard tools
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc)
- Demonstrates clarity of thinking and design end to end test scenarios to work through limited information and vague problem definitions
- Execute Manual tests if/when needed
- Strong verbal and written communication
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in test automation of mobile applications on native Android framework (Espresso)
- 5+ years of experience in using tools like Bitbucket, Bamboo, JIRA and various tests management systems
- Good to have experience of Release Engineering
- Team Player with great attitude to liaison with various stake holders of Mobile teams including business, to get things done in a streamlined way
- A thorough understanding of OOP, design patterns, iOS, Android, and enterprise in mobile application integration
- Excellent understanding of different testing frameworks
- Expert in breaking down problems and identify scenarios to provide end to end test coverage
- Able to work under minimal supervision and quick to adopt new technologies
- Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team
- Shares knowledge, and credit, establishing trust, credibility, and goodwill
- B.S or higher in computer science or engineering
