Job Description

This role will be a part of the Corporate Security Engineering team that reports to the Senior Director of Security Engineering.The corporate security engineering team targets buildingstate-of-the-arttechnology that will helpreducethe risksurrounding the sensitiveassetsofthe companywith the least impact possible on operations,acts asguidance andfacilitatorto the security operations teams and helps shifting Securityperceptionfrom blocker toenablerby building a relationship of trust with the other teams.

• Buildandoperationalizesecuritytools.
• Suggest securityimprovements by assessingthe currentsituation,evaluating trends,anticipatingrequirements,and supporting proof-of-concept experimentations.
• Create and present functional and technical designs including data analysis to businessteam, and gather feedback to influence solution design and approach
• Implement andmaintainsecurity controls
• Participate in security incidents andhelpimplementthecontainmentand eradication.
• Evaluate audit findings and act upon them.
• Serveas anexpert for the different toolsbuiltby the team.
• Act asguidance andfacilitatorto security operations.
• Build strong relationships with differentstakeholders.
• Cross functional work across the enterprise to gather requirements and to attend workshops with subject matter experts
• Accountable for thetimelydelivery of projects as per established roadmaps by working closely with the business teams
• Strong alignment with product management and engineering teams on roadmap and product feedback
• Providementoring and training to peers and other colleagues in the organization
• Stay current on product developments/releases to a levelrequiredfor solutioning and value realization for business

• Provenexperiencein beingan effective teamplayer.
• A keen analytical mind for problem solving, abstract thought, and offensive security tacticswith a goal to make security a strong enabler atServiceNow.
• Strong working knowledge of system internals as well as networking
• Proven experiencewith Automation (Python, Perl, bash scripting, etc.)
• Strong experience with securing cloudinfrastructures.
• Experience in Linux, Windows, and/or Mac systems security.

Experience/Knowledgewithsecurity tools including(not limited to):

1. Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB)
2. Compliance Assurance tools for cloud environments
3. Container security.
4. Networking Security (Firewalls,NAC,Zero Trust, etc.)
5. Anti-Malware andEDRtools
6. Logging and Aggregation tools
7. Data Loss prevention tools(DLP)
8. Deception technologies
9. Vulnerability scanning
10. Privileged Access Management- Privileged Session Management (PAM-PSM)

• Ability to articulate complex issues to executives and customers
• AComputer Science/Engineeringdegree with8+years of proven, related experience isrequired
