Your Career

We are looking for a Strategic Communications Manager who is passionate about using a combination of creativity, innovation, and practical marketing communications knowledge.

This individual, reporting to the Director, InfoSec Strategic Initiatives, will be responsible for the development and execution of strategic marketing and technical communications programs across our InfoSec organization. With a strong technical writing and marketing background, this role will act as a subject matter expert for a full range of marketing and communications deliverables across the InfoSec organization, key internal security stakeholder organizations, as well as customers Additionally, this individual will work with a cross-functional team to further develop Services partner marketing strategies and programs.

Your Impact

  • As a key member of the Security Education and Awareness team, you will have an opportunity to directly impact the company’s success by enabling the enterprise to understand and adopt security best practices
  • You will closely collaborate with leaders within InfoSec and across our stakeholder organizations to understand security services and the value security practices, ideate and create innovative awareness channels to generate high-quality content, and continuously measure and improve the impact of your work
  • You’ll drive key elements of services and executive messaging, the creation and awareness material, write internal communications, and drive the overall development of security content
  • In close partnership with the Director and a multifunctional team of SMEs, evolve and elevate the storytelling and strategy of the SE&A organization
  • Demonstrate strategic leadership by driving impactful messaging for the CISO, continuing to strengthen his brand as a leader and drive thought leadership, aligning with the company mission, strategy, leadership principles and cultural attributes
  • Develop core messaging and narrative to bring InfoSec strategy and priorities to life through storytelling
  • Proactively own multiple requests and projects in parallel from inception to completion, including ideation, research, project management, execution with the creative team, collaboration with internal stakeholders and customers, and delivery/training
  • Create high quality, impactful marketing assets and content that exceed customer/partner needs, including pitch decks and 1-pagers, case studies, webinars, videos, and more
  • Leverage enterprise communication channels to share compelling services messaging and value propositions on the solution and key features

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 10+ years professional writing experience

  • 5+ years experience doing corporate storytelling/content development

  • Expertise interviewing people from the C-suite, Customers, and to all support functions

  • Experience communication and collaboration platform, Slack, Panopto and all G-Suite communications and collaboration tools

  • Stakeholder-first mindset; brings new ideas on how to improve the stakeholder experience

  • Proven track record in creating compelling messaging & positioning for security solutions

  • Strategic thinker who can quickly understand complex issues and develop the right content for the need

  • Ability to work effectively with multiple business partners, including cross-group teams, virtual and global teams, vendors, and agency partners

  • Proven track record for new, innovative approaches and smart risk taking

  • Current knowledge of digital communications techniques and employee engagement

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects from start to finish

  • Self-starter who proactively seeks out resources, conducts research, and aligns with stakeholders to create the best work possible

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; excels at presenting to and getting buy-in from different audiences, e.g. company leadership, cross-functional team members, and customers

Education

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education, and experience in information / cyber security, computer systems, IT, etc.

Disclosure required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum compensation (includes on-target earnings = base + on target incentives for sales roles) for this role to be located in the state of Colorado. If hired in Colorado, this position starts at $109,000/yr. Depending on the position offered, restricted stock units and incentive or bonus pay may be provided as part of this compensation package.
