- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent written and electronic record keeping skills
- Proficiency in writing technical reports and verbally communicating with other technical staff
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills, along with experimental design experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work well in a team
- Prefer experience with statistical data analysis using JMP, python or R
- Prefer understanding of or experience with DNA manipulation techniques, sequencing methodologies, or other wet laboratory instrumentation
- B.S. in a biochemistry, chemistry, or materials discipline with the ability to perform statistical analysis of data with programs such as JMP, minitab, Matlab, R. Familiarity with computer programming in languages such as or Python is a plus OR
- B.S. in computer science, electrical engineering, biomolecular engineering, chemical engineering, statistics, or a related discipline with a background in molecular biology or biochemistry
