Job Title- Technician: Computer Laboratory Location- Santa Clara, California, United States, Duration-3 months Job Description The role is primarily Shift 1 May need to attend early morning or potentially late meetings on certain dates as this role may need to interact with other geographies from time to time. Responsibilities Assists Global Lab Planners with lab assessments, space audits, and validates utilization. Works with Global Lab Planners and facilities engineers to define and deliver lab space and local facilities infrastructure solutions. Supports lab planners and engineers for remote assessments, data collection, and issue resolution. Supports Lab allocation/assignment Evaluates and deploy best known methods to optimize lab efficiency. Supports optimization of lab utilization of space, benches, racks, and lab storage. Walks all labs at assigned sites. Has the means and availability to travel between sites, campuses, and buildings. Able to travel between regional Intel sites. Monitors space and storage use cases and inventory. Manages furniture inventory. Assignments are semi-routine in nature but may include a wide array of jobs to support the development of solutions to maximize the use of lab space and facilities electrical/mechanical infrastructure. Updates Visio drawings consistent with Intel lab best known methods and standards. Report and document facilities related issues, through CS and IT support tickets. Develop and edit technical documents including operating documents job plans and troubleshooting documents. Maintain necessary records and reports. Work from technical documents, written BKMs and/or verbal directions to complete tasks in assigned areas. Perform electrical and mechanical rounds and readings schedules Responsible for observing, documenting, and reporting Unsafe/Safe behaviors Influencing lab occupants and users. Communicates, reports, documents and follows through on safety catches Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets Filter and clean data quality of computer reports Locate and define new process improvement opportunities TRIRIGA and LaMP data entry and validation for all managed Lab Spaces (POC, CC Allocation, Lab Name, Description,) Intel Training to be provided Develop and maintenance of the Site Profiles/Categorization (1 ppt foil with relevant Lab/Site information per Site) for each 14 main Sites every 6 months Use and creation of TRIRIGA & LaMP reports depending of the needs: Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly. Maintain and archive documents, data, historical information Skills: Experience with lab/building/facilities operations Utilize MS Office Suite: Visio, Power Point, Outlook, Word, Excel (proficient). Knowledge of Excel methods: Pivot tables / CAD Knowledge or experience The successful candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: Analytical skills. Written and verbal communication skills. Organization and time management skills. Work effectively across multiple facilities operations disciplines Minimum Qualifications: Technical Degree or related experience.
