Position: Technical Marketing Engineer Location: Santa Clara, CA Length: 6 Month ContractDuties: • Develop, constantly refine, and execute the technical marketing plan. • Be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and delivery of effective technical tools, whitepapers, and technical training for sales, customers, and partners. • Lead the competitive research and testing to identify key competitive advantages of our product lines and deliver them to sales, customers, and partners. • Be a key technical evangelist for the client, speaking at seminars, conferences, customer briefings, and with other groups within the company. • Provide technical and competitive feedback to the product management and engineering teams on the features on the roadmap. Skills: • Experience with cloud & hybrid technologies such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, VMWare and Containers is highly desired. • Experience with scripting languages such as python and CFT, terraform is highly desired. • Eagerness to learn new technologies, experiment with products and collaborate cross-functionally. • Strong customer advocacy skills and experience, ability to work in difficult customer situations. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation skills and tradeshow experience. • Work towards getting things done, with strong initiative and sense of ownershipEducation: • BS/BA in a computer-related field or equivalent experience required • 3+ years of experience as a technical marketing engineer, preferably for networking or security products.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
