Job Responsibilities:
- Compare 2 channel urls and check if there is any latency
- Monitor via Orion system if all live channels are streaming well
- When alerts from Orion come in for any channel, verify the channel in production and make sure the playback is fine
- Help fix some issues
- Reporting
- 3+ years of experiencein quality practices.
- Strong in Web andMobile testing
- Experience in streaming testing a plus
- Good knowledge of various Test Methodologies and Techniques (Black Box), API testing.
- Read, understand, and review software design specifications and product requirements.
- Strong in test case creation, execution & reporting
- String in bug process understating andreporting.
- Experience with creating & execution of test scenarios and test cases.
- Knowledge of Bug Tracking software like JIRA and zephyr
- Understanding of Web Service/API testing.
- Able to analyze applications logs for issues.
- Experience with Jira and confluence
- Automation experience in Selenium and Java is a plus
- Strong communicator (must) – able to work closely with counterparts in a cross-functional, Agile team setting, to understand product needs and implement the right tests
- Understands the importance of data as to analyze reported issues, inform severity of defects, inform the priority of tests
- Excellent process/project/people management skills while managing multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving andTroubleshooting skills
