Senior Software Engineer - UI (Angular)
Job Description:Micro Focus is looking to hire a talented Senior UI Developer for the Fortify AppSec Business Unit, to build enterprise-level software for application security. As a key member of this team, you will contribute to projects that aid in the aggregation, analysis, and visualization of source code vulnerabilities to secure applications. - Well-versed in Angular technologies & UI frameworks
- Able to lead projects and collaborate well with team members in an Agile development environment
- A firm believer in the value of testing and writing automated tests
- Have a good understanding of system design patterns, and on-premise deployments
- Proficient in one or more back end languages, Node.js and Java preferred
- Someone who strives for engineering excellence and writing clean, maintainable code
- Enthusiastic about researching new technologies and integrating them into existing systems whenever appropriate
- BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- 5 or more years of work experienceas a UI developer
- Strong programming experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, Sass and CSS
- Strong background in Angular framework
- Experience with RESTful web services, relational and non-relational databases, and Docker
- Automated testing experience on front end
- Proven experience delivering robust, scalable systems that fulfill requirements within strict time constraints
- A good understanding of best practices in web development with experience in requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and delivery of enterprise web applications
- Application Security experience a plus
