Title: Field Service Technical Support - Entry

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Location: Santa Clara, CA, 95054

Description:The Field Engineer will have hands-on experience with our company's state of the art network test solution software/equipment. With the help of a mentor and senior leadership, the candidate will actively work with on-site customer service and support assignments with clearly defined objectives who will be solving problems of limited scope and complexity. The position requires high energy, a strong customer focus, solid communication skills, technical competence, teamwork, ability to multi-task and flexibility to adapt to new technologies and changes.

Requirements
  • Minimum Qualifications: Associate/Technical degree, Bachelor or Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Network Engineering or related field
  • Basic knowledge and experience with systems, including hardware, software, operating systems, and networking concepts
  • Strong listening, communications, judgment, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel, including ability to travel on short notice
  • Must have a Valid Driver’s License with good driving record.
  • Self-directed, self-starting and well organized, including good time management
  • Flexible working hours per customer commitments, including ability to work afterhours/overtime as the customer situation dictates
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift equipment weighing 50 lbs
  • Network+ or CCNA preferred but not required.
