Job Title: Sr. Software Development EngineerLocation: Santa Clara, CA/REMOTE
Candidates applying must have strong experience in the following: 1) Full stack developer candidate should have experience working with SQL, REST API, JSON, AJAX, Javscript, HTML/CSS/jQuery, XML concepts and Bootstrap in agile environment. 2) ServiceNow platform experience will be a plus. Candidate should have experience in writing custom code on ServiceNow platform. We are not looking for implementor type of resource. What you will do in this role:Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing bestpractices around softwareengineering architecture andprocesses (Code Reviews, Unittesting, etc.).Work with the productowners to understand detailedrequirements and own your codefrom design, implementation, testautomation, and delivery of the high-quality product to ourusers.Implement softwarethat is simple touse to allow customers toextend and customize thefunctionality to meet their specific needs.MUST HAVE:Based on the job description, what are the must have non-negotiable items that a candidate must have to be successful in this role?• Full stack developer candidate should have experience working with SQL, REST API, JSON, AJAX, Javscript, HTML/CSS/jQuery, XML concepts and Bootstrap in agile environment.• ServiceNow platform experience will be a plus. ServiceNow PlatformDoes the position require to work in a specific time zone?Pacific Time ZoneIs there a specific work schedule that needs to be followed?Standard day schedule however, candidate will be expected to be working with India team and possibly attend calls in the evenings.Skills: What you will need to be successful in this role:• Has at least 8+ years of software engineering experience, and a solid background in software development.• Preferably worked on ServiceNow platform building custom apps.• Has full stack development experience using at least one of the following programming languages: Java, C#, Python, Go, JavaScript.• Has experience with UI frameworks like Angular JS.• Has experience and good understanding of SQL, Json, Ajax, HTML, jQuery, XML concepts.• Has technical experience building web services using REST/SOAP based APIs.• Has experience with Agile Software development processes.• Has passion for writing secure, readable, modular, and maintainable code.• Cares about security and performance of the system.• Enjoys translating business problems into software & technical requirements.• Likes and is skilled in diagnosing complex issues and troubleshooting code.• Good verbal and written communication skills to be able to articulate technical aspects to the stakeholders.• Has high coding standards & can maintain them even when the pressure is on.• Can perform unit/integration testing.• Is a passionate team player who is willing to go the extra mile to achieve the team goals and takes the team along with him/her toward success.Education: Bachelor's degree or better in Computer Science or related Engineering disciplineVacancy expired!
