Jira Cloud Administrator, Santa Clara, CA Phone + Skype JD: Jira Cloud Administrator About the job Our client, a global information security leader, has an immediate need for a Jira Cloud Administrator to join its Santa Clara, CA based operations. The primary goal of the Jira Cloud Administrator is to assure proper organization of projects on the Jira Cloud platform. This includes configuring the layout, design, workflow, and dashboard. Responsibilities

  • Setup authentication and authorization systems (like LDAP)
  • Customize of workflows, fields, screens, permissions, notifications and issue type schemes.
  • Develop Jira best practices for functions such as bulk upload of issues and uploading Test-cases using plugins.
  • Maintain Jira in an efficient way so that it can integrate with other Atlassian tools. Develop Jira extracts and reports as needed by management.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience as Jira Administrator with experience customizing Jira projects with various schemes, complex workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes required.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years' hands-on experience working with the Atlassian product suite, with specific focus on Jira as a Project/Application Administrator.
  • Expert level Atlassian tool administration knowledge on Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to write custom JQL (Jira Query Language)
  • Ability to construct custom dashboards using various filter types in Jira
  • Ability to construct Confluence pages and integrate Jira projects with Confluence pages, a plus
  • Experience in performing Atlassian installations, migrations, and plugin installation
  • Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL Database administration skills are preferred.
  • LDAP integration experience.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic agile environment.
  • Must have strong work ethic with good time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
