- Open and efficient lines of communication
- Address and coordinate any Quality Issues; both internally and with the supplier
- Provide feedback to management for any key delivery delays in critical part orders
- Participate in key HPD meetings related to engine initiatives, quality, and build scheduling
- Includes Development Engine build needs
- Consumable monitoring and purchase
- Tracked Mileage Part monitoring and purchase
- Create Production Requests (RP’s) and Subcontract Worksheets for part value add processing
- Weekly Bill of Material review
- Monitoring Parts Cart stock and ensuring adequate stock is on-hand to support Assembly needs
- Ensure sufficient stock for Indy engine builds
- Provide annual forecasts for Blocks, Heads, Camshafts, Crankshafts, Valve Springs, Pistons, Rings, Injectors, etc.

- Any part quality issues
- Blocks
- Heads

- Camshafts
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with 3+ years direct experience in purchasing/procurement and material planning.
- Strong negotiation skills; knowledge of supplier management and procurement process in developing contracts/agreements
- Must have the ability to develop purchasing strategies with respect to QCD (Quality, Cost and on time delivery).
- Must have automotive parts, and prototyping experience.
- Must be familiar with MRP Logic, parts planning parameters and have strong computer skills in MS office
- Racing and manufacturing experience is preferred.
- APICS (CPIM) certification desirable.
- Navision software experience preferred.
