- Plan, coordinate, perform, gather, and analyze data and report on testing activities relating to engine development including, cost, function, performance, drivability and/or reliability per project goals.
- Must have the ability to plan, organize, schedule and coordinate activities for self-based on an evaluation of work needs and an estimation of timing
- Create efficient test procedures, specifying the necessary data acquisition and analyze the results to reach an accurate conclusion and present suggestions for follow-up work
- Minimum 3- 5 years’ experience with development and testing of engines including test planning and procedures, data acquisition and analysis
- Engineering discipline knowledge including control systems, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, statics and dynamics, and internal combustion engine fundamentals and theory a plus
- Microsoft Excel skills including ability to write VBA subroutines/code/macros
- Experience modifying ECU calibration values to achieve improved engine performance, emissions, or reliability a plus
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3-5 years’ experience in Internal Combustion Engines or a Master’s degree or equivalent
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in team environment and able to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to be self-directed, detailed oriented who can effectively work well under pressure in a diverse environment
