- Evaluate and develop a plan to replace/ upgrade equipment that could cause single point failures/bottleneck during assembly and improve overall operational effectiveness.
- Responsible of developing and installing automated and semi-automated solutions to improve Assembly Line productivity.
- Enhance current production hydraulic testing equipment introducing state of the art technology and automation.
- Implement error-proofing solutions for systemic or high-risk opportunities.
- Continuous improvement projects and Kaizen events to support and enhance the Assembly Line improved efficiency, productivity, and cost reductions.
- Safety and Environmental Change Management impact as result of the new equipment implementation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
- 5 plus years of experience in developing CAPEX projects.
- Experience working in a manufacturing engineering function in High Mix and Low Volume Assembly Line
- The knowledge of Fixture and Tool design with advanced 3D modeling Software will be considered a plus.
- Ability to apply problem solving methods, root cause analysis, workflow and process engineering skills
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge.
