Dominican also has received several awards for environmental excellence.ResponsibilitiesDelivers pre-operative care to AM admit and outpatient surgical and procedural sedation patients and discharges outpatients after their procedure. Functions independently and collaboratively with other nursing staff members to assess and evaluate patients. Responsible for care of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.PRE-Admission Testing - Works collaboratively with the scheduling secretary and the Surgical Services Medical Director/Co-Medical Director to screen and interview elective admissions to Dominican Hospital in order to facilitate a smooth transition into the delivery system. Responsible for care of all patient populations. The RN is responsible for supporting efforts to improve clinical and service excellence of patient care provided. RN must be able to identify and apply care skills appropriate to the specific patient age groups served. The RN will participate in the achievement of service targets and process goals.ALL REGISTERED NURSES will render professional nursing care to patients, support medical care as directed by physicians. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health/Dominican Hospital. At least one year of acute care experience

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Proficient in English. Verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills required.

Current and active CA RN license Current BLS certification

Preferred / Desired:

five plus years of accute care experience

BS in nursing
