Dominican also has received several awards for environmental excellence.ResponsibilitiesThe Surgical Technician II is responsible for supporting Registered Nurses and Surgeons in the Operating Room. They handle sterile instruments during surgical procedures. They monitor their sterile field and are responsible for the care and maintenance of surgical instruments, supplies and equipment. Working as part of the OR team is essential. Responsible for picking cases and room turn-over after procedures.QualificationsExperience Required:
2 years ORT experience (preferred)
Licensure:
Current Certified Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting T CST
Current AHA BLS Certification CT CPRBLS
Current Certified OR Technician or equivalent CT ORG (preferred)
