Assistant Vice President Business Services “ based in Santa Maria area

We are looking for an experienced and highly engaging business services professional who will lead the Credit Unions initiative to grow core deposits and treasury management services. Under the direction of the Chief Credit Officer you will develop, enhance and implement a full array of Treasury Management Services including but not limited to eBanking Services, Payments Solutions, Depository Products and Receivables Solutions.

Some of the responsibilities are;

Manages multiple projects with limited oversight, gathering requirements, writing business requirements documents, creating and managing project plans and managing issues and risks.

Provides leadership and subject matter expertise on strategic projects related to Treasury Management Services and the evolution of its capabilities.

Creates product reports; monitors and tracks success of Treasury Management products.

Implements and rolls-out process for new business products and product enhancements.

Designs product marketing, pricing, and distribution strategy for assigned products.

Communicates launch dates for products and enhancements with all stakeholders.

Develops responses to Requests for Proposals/bids, including pricing for Treasury Management Services.

Maintains confidentiality of member and Credit Union information.

Effectively directs and supervises assigned employees, ensuring optimal performance. Supervisory duties include, but are not limited to, employee selection, training, coaching and discipline. Verifies employee time records and employee performance. Motivates, coaches and evaluates employees performance.

Some of the requirements of the job are;

Bachelors degree in business-related field preferred.

Five to ten years of experience in a banking environment required, with thorough knowledge of online banking, deposit products and business account offerings.

Demonstrated background in product marketing and management strategy development and execution.

Thorough understanding of risk management principles and the impact to new product development.

Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) required.

NACHA “ Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) required; Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP) preferred.
