Development Operations Engineer
Trust Automation, a fast growing company in San Luis Obispo which designs, builds and supports control and power management systems for the most demanding defense, semiconductor, industrial automation, green technology and medical applications is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team in San Luis Obispo, CA. As a DevOps Engineer, you will Support Trust Engineering and IT departments with tool development, deployment and sustainment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Support Trust Engineering and IT departments with tool development, deployment and sustainment:
Docker migration
Merge of Jira and BitBucket instances
Implementation of Crucible
Migration from SVN to Git/BitBucket
Migration of continuous integration to Atlassian solution
Migration of customized Engineering JIRA workflows to company JIRA server
Improve code coverage reporting accuracy and detail
Implementation of a static code analysis tool
Create configurable and automated build script utility to gather build artifacts
ABAS / Solidworks PDM integration
ABAS / Altium integration
Altium scripting tools
Data analysis tool development
Improve graphing capabilities in Trust Modbus User Interface
Add Ethernet support to Trust Modbus User Interface
Improve register configurability in Trust Modbus User Interface
Test software development
Administration of Postgres and SQL backend infrastructure
ERP development including JAVA (used for advanced ERP customizations), FOP, XML, scripting and automations
Linux administration
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Successful candidates will have:
Minimum Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science
2+ years of software experience (development, integration, or test)
Programming skills in C/C, C#, Java, Python
Familiarity with build, deployment, and test infrastructure
Familiarity with SQL and Postgres database backend
Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, etc…)
Familiarity with agile development processes is preferred
Thrives in an innovative, multidisciplinary design team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage time effectively and work effectively with teammates and management

WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be physically fit enough to regularly lift up to 30 pounds unassisted for duties such as unpacking and installing computers and equipment. Must be able and comfortable with kneeling, bending, crawling under desks and working in small areas.
