Cottonwood Canyon Winery is a small premium producer of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah located in the heart of Santa Maria Valley Wine Country. We are looking for a few part time attendants for our Tasting Room. Responsibilities:
Host and educate guests on our story and products
Provide exceptional winery experiences
Build Tasting Room sales and customer base
Pour at Special Events & Concerts (as needed)
Accurately manage POS transactions
Drive wine sales
Prepare the Tasting Room for opening and closing daily
Stock merchandise and supplies
Represent the company and brand professionally, graciously and enthusiastically
Growth of Wine Club and overall brand
Inventory control (notify Tasting Room Manager when supplies and wine levels are low)
Other duties as they are assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age(Server)
Food and Wine knowledge preferred
Prior sales experience a plus
Detail oriented
Organized and efficient with ability and willingness to multitask
High quality standards for hospitality and service
Strong verbal communication skills
Courteous, friendly and professional manner
Team player
Customer service & sales focus
Trustworthy and reliable
Regular weekend and Holidays required
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift and move 38 pounds repeatedly
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
