We are seeking a Human Resource Generalist to work out of our headquarters in Santa Barbara on a full-time 37.5-hour per week basis.
SUMMARY
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and will work closely with senior HR management in supporting staff and faculty. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment/employment, onboarding activities, benefit administration, employee relations, training, performance management, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Three years experience in Human Resources, including a minimum of one years experience in recruitment, is required. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelors degree, HR certification, and work experience in higher education.
