Qualifications and Duties

1. Bilingual: English/Spanish. Be able to read, write, translate and communicate properly and clearly.

2. Experience with either WGAT or UABT Insurance Programs: Be able to present the programs to the employees, enroll them, and help them with their health issues and medical, dental, and vision needs.

3. Review monthly insurance invoices and approve for payment.

4. Make all necessary changes to employees enrollments in the insurance programs.

5. Experience with 401K retirement programs: Be able to present the program to employees, enroll them and be responsible for their accounts.

6. Experience with hiring new employees: Be able to check potential employees work history and references, schedule pre-employment physicals and drug testing and new employee training and orientation.

7. Experience with workers compensation: Be able to take injured workers to the IMG clinic or other medical treatment. Be able to investigate accidents and coordinate all medical treatment and modified duty until the employee is released back to full duty. Work with our third-party administrators. Plan and prepare all trainings for our worker safety prevention program.

8. Experience with employee discipline: Be able to investigate issue warnings and terminate if necessary.

9. Experience with an employee manual: Be able to present and change as necessary.

10. Experience with legal issues: Be able to work with the company attorney over legal issues affecting employees.

11. Computer experience: Be able to work with Famous, Data Track, and Microsoft software.

12. Work habits: Be on time to work, be creative, hardworking, a team player, flexible, follow directions from your supervisor, and work with management to have a successful HR Program. Have an attitude that each and every employee is important and that every employee knows they are important.
