Santa Maria Law firm is seeking an experienced Certified Paralegal to assist with our expanding number of clients.
Job Types: Full-time 8:30-5:30
Requirements:
Paralegal with Two Years or More experience
Proficient with Judicial Council Forms, Essential Forms, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook BestCase and Odyssey eFile CA
Strong Research, Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Experience Drafting Petitions, Complaints, Complex Pleadings, Financial Affidavits and Discovery
Organized, Multi Tasked and Detail Oriented
Works Well under Pressure and Deadlines
Takes Initiative while Working Independently and Work as Part of a Team
Strong Customer Service Skills and the Ability to Interact with Clients and Coworkers Professionally
Responsibilities:
Client Intake
Timekeeping
Conducting Legal Research Independently
Draft Briefs, Discovery, Financial Disclosures, Motions, Income and Expense Declarations, Memoranda and Responses
Correspond with Clients, Courts, Experts, Opposing Counsel, Opposing Party and other Services
Organize and Manage Client Files
File Forms with Court using Odyssey eFile CA
Meet Filing Deadlines
Provide Outstanding Customer Service to our Clients
Office Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
