A well-established Architectural signage company is looking for a Graphic Designer to design and manage an array of spec built and custom projects for large campuses in education, multi-family, healthcare and hospitality facilities. This is a fast paced and flexible environment where you'll often be working on several interesting new projects everyday.

The ideal candidate will have:

- On the job experience preferred in one of the following fields: signage, architecture, interior design or similar design environment. (We are willing to consider recent graduate applications as well!)

- Several years drafting experience in vector based software. (i.e. CAD or Adobe Illustrator) Adobe Illustrator is the primary program of use for this position, although any vector-based experience is a plus!

- Basic foundation skills in shop math (fractions, measurements, etc), writing and computer use.

- Big Picture / Efficiency mindset - high productivity, focused time management, fast paced with lots of detail, ability to manage many projects with little supervision. (You will easily build to 50+ projects in progress on your list in this position. You will eventually be completing close to 200 projects per year.)

- Interest in understanding color, materials, finishes, installation of signage, as related to design and wayfinding.

- Interest in learning applicable laws to make signage with accessibility in mind.

- Enjoys working in a small team environment where each member is key to project success.

Responsibilities:

Manage signage projects from beginning to end. Create design drawings, submit for approvals, submit RFIs, record project approvals, create production files and assemble work orders for the production and installation team.

Once trained you will also provide advice and suggestions to the client throughout the approval process to meet their needs and define product and lead time expectations.

Phone and Email skills - Interact with manager, clients, production and installation team. Manage deadlines. Track and report progress in team meetings and online tracker.
