We are looking for a creative detail-oriented person to for this multi-faceted job in Santa Barbara wine country.
This position requires a general knowledge of wines and wine regions, excellent fluency with Excel, a working knowledge of Photoshop, an extreme eye for detail, stellar communication, and a natural ability to self-manage. Creativity and a love and talent for writing are also necessary for helping with social media posts, web content, and emails also a significant part of this job.
Most of the work can be done from home, but a minimum of twice a week on Mondays and Fridays, coming into the place of business is necessary. Other random projects arise throughout the year that requires flexibility and the advantage of living locally.
General Job Duties Include:
Entering wines into our back-office management system
Maintain SEO within the site and general site maintenance (can be trained, no experience in SEO is needed)
Taking pictures of each bottle and editing in Photoshop
Maintaining the checklists and procedures
Regular communication with Owner and Wine Store Director
Maintain concise inventory with other office operating systems
Use Excel regularly for imports and exports and other reporting
Schedule and design Social Media posts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
Help manage Social Media pages
Write engaging emails for our growing email customer base
Report regularly to owner with updates
Occasionally will need help with other aspects of the business and our other businesses as they arise.
