We are seeking a bright and self-motivated individual for an entry level, full-time position at an environmental laboratory in Santa Maria. Entry level pay rate is $13 to $16 DOE. Candidates with degrees are welcome to apply.
Job Description
Sample log-in and preparation including data entry into a laboratory information management system (LIMS) and sample integrity/condition assessment
Communicate with clientele in a professional manner on the phone and in person
Possibility of Courier duties down the road
An Ideal Candidate Will:
Have customer service experience including taking phone calls and emails
Have a valid CA Driver's License and a clean driving record
Type 50 WPM or more
Be able to lift 30 lbs.
Be detail oriented and have good penmanship
Have experience with basic Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
Be EXCELLENT at multitasking
A science or clerical related degree a plus (AA, BS/BA)
