Overview:
This position REQUIRES possession of a state Guard Card. Applicants need to have one at the time of application.
The Unarmed Security Officer provides on-site security services for clients. All duties must be performed in accordance with client and company policies and standard operating procedures, following all state and federal regulations. Our team is looking for individuals who are dependable, optimistic, problem solvers who lead by example
Overview of Duties and Responsibilities
-Provide security services at local sites
-Serve as a visible security presence at client locations
-Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols
-Utilization of tour tracking software in the performance of daily duties
-Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports, as needed
-Collaboration with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
-Maintain visitor and employee access logs
-Provide customer service driven, professional security services
-Maintain a professional appearance
-Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
-Must possess and maintain state Guard Certification as prescribed by presiding state law
-2 years’ experience in the security industry preferred
-Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
-Must be flexible and possess the ability to function in stressful situations
-Knowledgeable in general security industry standards and methods preferred
-Demonstration of ability to communicate clearly and effectively
-A dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
Education, Certification, and Other Requirements
-Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
-Possession of state Guard Card certification
-Possession of a valid Driver’s License
-Physical Functions and Working Environment
-Frequent extended sitting, standing, and walking
-Frequent climbing stairs, ramps, and occasionally ladders
-Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling
-Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
-Occasional running, as needed
-Frequent reaching and grasping

-Must be at least 18 years of age and able to provide documentation showing authorization to work in the U.S.
-Employment is conditioned on successful completion of background check
-If prior military, must provide DD214 discharge document with discharge status upon job offer
