Responsibilities of the Concrete Finishers
● Set the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth, and align them
● Check the forms that hold the concrete to see that they are properly constructed
● Spread, level, and smooth concrete, using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel
● Direct the casting of the concrete and supervise laborers who use shovels or special tools to spread it
● Must have curb and gutter knowledge
Requirements of the Concrete Finishers
● Must have verifiable concrete finishing experience
● Ability to read simple plans, make measurements and set up forms in preparation to pour concrete
● Ability to lift 60 lbs and more with assistance, bend twist, stoop, squat
● Ability to use basic hand tools to do some finishing to the concrete products
● MUST HAVE 3 YEARS OR MORE EXPERIENCE AS A FINISHER
● Must have reliable transportation.
● Must be able to travel from Santa Barbara County to Monterey County
● Valid Driver's license
● Must be 18 years old or older
Pay will depend on experience
