One of our clients in the Artificial Intelligence space is currently looking to bring on a Senior Java Engineer. They're looking for someone who is very strong with Machine Learning and Distributed Systems. You'll develop in Java, Kotlin, Rest API, Docker, Kubernetes, and Machine Learning. You'll work on a security application with large amounts of data so they're looking for someone who has scalability experience as well as startup experience. This role will be 90% greenfield development and 100% backend development. Computer Science fundamentals are expected as well. This long term contract to hire role comes with health benefits, 401K, flexible hours and two to three days WFH after Covid-19, currently fully remote. You'll also work with some of the smartest engineers in the world. Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in backend Java or Kotlin development
- Any Docker and Kubernetes experience is a plus
- Strong fundamentals with either Computer Science, Math or Physics
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- 90% Hands On Coding
- 10% Design/Architecture
