Data Analyst Santa Monica, CA - onsite Rate: DOE Duration: 8/2021 - 1/2022 (might extend)RESPONSIBILITIES: • Serve as a thought partner to global supply chain functions including Network Planning, Procurement, Materials Planning, Logistics and Distribution to understand external variables, learn internal landscape and develop relationships to successfully enable the delivery of analytics • Partner closely with functional leadership on designing a measurement strategy and developing a portfolio of KPIs • Use enterprise systems, analytics tools and scripting languages to source, cleanse, transform and visualize data. • Deliver insights via ad hoc reporting, dashboards, structured analysis or custom apps • Effectively plan and collaborate with team members on data-driven projects to improve internal tools, systems, and data pipelines • Translate business functional requirements into technical specifications and, conversely, technical approaches into easily digestible terms • Apply UX and Product Management approaches to ensure our deliverables evolve and continue to provide value over time REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline • MBA or masters in a technology or quantitative discipline preferred • 5+ years hands-on experience in analytics, data science or business intelligence • 3+ years experience in supply chain, operations, procurement, consulting, life sciences or related field • Excellent SQL skills for complex querying, analysis, and performance optimization • Advanced-level data visualization and dashboard development skills using Tableau • Proficiency with exploratory data analysis and modeling using Python (pandas, numpy), R or SAS • Experience using Alteryx for data transformation and workflows • Practical experience using tools such as Github, Jupyter Notebook and Jira • Foundational understanding of data warehousing concepts, design, modeling and data engineering • Experience working with large scale ERP such as Oracle and SAP • Ability to work independently, initiate and drive work to conclusion • Exceptional communication and presentation skills across a diverse audienceWhy Kelly ® ?By partnering with Kelly® Technology, you'll have direct connections to top companies around the globe-giving you the chance to put your tech skills to work on some of today's most intriguing, innovative, and high-visibility projects.
