RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in need of a remote Business Analyst in Santa Monica, CA.
Responsibilities: Document business requirements in the form of user stories with acceptance criteria and groom (clarify and estimate) them with the engineering team Interface with business stakeholders to understand requirements and gain alignment and sign-off on user stories Translate business needs to Engineering and QA teams to ensure a quality product and great user experience Facilitate user acceptance testing Work closely with PMO for status updates, identifying dependencies, and meeting deadlines and control scope Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects Other duties and projects may be assignedREQUIREMENTS: 4+ years of relevant experience Passion for solving problems, defining business rules, and working across a variety of stakeholder groups Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills Excellent documentation skills Must be adaptable in the face of rapidly changing priorities Must be able to find the clarity in ambiguous requirements Ability to recall details on the fly and apply them to new problems; see the big picture and the minutiae simultaneously A track record of following through on commitments Proficiency with Agile Scrum and Atlassian JIRA Proficiency with Google Docs, Sheets, SlidesKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
