Position Description:The IT Service Desk Intern will provide technical support and troubleshooting services to corporate end-users who need assistance with their computer hardware or software. This is a front-line team position with opportunity for exposure to all aspects of Cornerstone’s business.In this internship you will
Imaging computers, installing application and other software
Supporting a wide variety of hardware devices - workstations, laptops, tablets, phones
Providing basic “how to” assistance for productivity suite software (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
Providing desk side support for local users and remote assistance for global users
Password resets, account activations and deactivations
Documenting system configurations, developing work aids
Other duties as assigned
You've got what it takes if you have
Strong experience with Microsoft Operating Systems, predominantly client side
Hands on experience with Microsoft infrastructure software (AD, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
Exposure to Apple and Mac technologies considered an asset
Demonstrated hardware/software troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and inter-personal presentation skills
Customer service focus – technically oriented while maintaining the ability to positively interact with non-technical clients
