- Advanced scientific degree (i.e. MD, PharmD, PhD) OR

- Ability to communicate complex solutions and value in business terms, adapt and learn to changing business environment and domains is a must
- Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Business Process Management or related discipline or equivalent number of years of work experience
- This resource will design, develop and manage all multi-functional deliverables and partner commitments required to support and maintain the MES system
- This role will define and deliver MES information technology roadmap, implement and evolve system SDLC, provide technical support for global system rollout at all manufacturing sites, establish global support model and ensure the delivery of end-to-end MES IT Operations in a distributed landscape
- Partner with Site IT heads and MES/Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) to deliver the MES system to support Tech Ops strategy
- Participate heavily in requirements collection and definition phase and lead the design of high-level solutions and provide necessary business context into technical design discussions while working within defined enterprise architecture and platform standards in collaboration with MES/Automation CoE team
- Lead execution of establishing a technical roadmap and vision for MES globally which enables delivery of the Manufacturing strategy
- Align MES technical roadmap with infrastructure project portfolio, CoE GMBR strategy, information security, GxP compliance requirements and enterprise architecture
- Lead System Lifecycle Management of MES and all outbound application interfaces; develop and lead portfolio of MES solution artifacts throughout the solution portfolio lifecycle from the new product definition to end of life
- Partner with MES vendors to ensure the effective execution of the projects and services on MES technical roadmap including oversight of project scope, SLAs and critical metrics
- Serve as a technical domain specialist to the organization and customers, act as IT solution architect mapping customer requirements to software capabilities of MES ensuring optimal technical implementation
- Design and implement global MES Support model, build support teams and establish SLAs and key operational processes
- Lead the development of Service Agreements, Maintenance Agreements, Operating level agreements to enable end-to-end MES support delivery
- Provide Support for technical implementation activities during functional requirements and design, cost and timeline estimation, and assist in the management and communication to partners
- Provide innovative solutions for the customer by using the full capability of the MES system
- Support IT project estimates/proposals and lead internal continuous improvement initiatives
