- Communication/Interpersonal Skills: Communicates well both verbally and in writing, creates accurate and punctual reports, delivers presentations, shares information and ideas with others, has good listening skills. - Project Management: Establishes project goals, milestones, and procedures, defines roles and responsibilities, acquires project resources, coordinates projects throughout company, monitors project progress, manages multiple projects
- Sense of Urgency: Prioritizes well, shows energy, reacts to opportunities, instills urgency in others, meets deadlines
- Bachelor’s in engineering, Marketing or Business (technical degree preferred or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years' experience in Product Management
- Proven track record working with designers, engineers, beta testers, and user research to continually improve the quality and impact of our products
- Experience translating voice of customer into action through feature prioritization
- Understanding of integration tradeoffs when building a product experience with electrical, mechanical, and software elements
- Experience managing personnel and matrixed product teams to deliver best-in-class products
- Experience managing a multi-product portfolio, with emphasis on product managing a particular product to launch while still driving the roadmap overall, market analysis, and longer-term product planning
- Experience in product positioning, building customer targets, articulating the value proposition, identifying, and driving competitive differentiation
- Experience with product management of commercial robotics or consumer smart connected devices
